EoTD: Sunday's Beauty Spell

Besides watching the Oscars tonight, what else am I doing? Blog post! Actually I have two, but I figured the other being a haul, I'd do this one first to kind of split up the hauls.

This post is going to be not only an eye of the day look, but also a review on the Rimmel London Glam'Eyes Quad in Beauty Spell.

The only eyeshadows that I used for this look come straight from Rimmel London Glam'Eyes Quad Eye Shadow palette in Beauty Spell. I ended up picking this up Friday night from Target for $1.98 (clearance) along with two others. I was in a purple-ish mood today, so instead of going through multiple palettes, I kept to one.

Beauty Spell
This palette is made up of four colors, a silver (top), a silvery purple (right), a mauve-taupe (left), and a matte black with silver flecks worked into it (bottom). A double sided sponge tip applicator is also included, one side being larger than the other. The packaging itself is simple and sleek, the plastic being solid and not flimsy. On the back of the package (not pictured), it gives you a little eye chart (we'll go with eye chart here) on how to apply the shadows, with each shadow having it's own number.

The shadows themselves, are pigmented. However, the silver is probably the sheerest out of the four, with the black being the utmost pigmented (really, two taps and it's loaded). A little goes a long way for the black.

Overall, I absolutely love this palette. The colors are gorgeous, and work well together.

Onward to the Eye of the Day!
