Review: Own Refining Moisture Night Cream

After struggling with my latest manicure, which I think I finally got right. Although, still not terribly thrilled with the turn out =\ It's review time!

The last OWN product that I received courtesy of iFabbo, is their Refining Moisture Night Cream.

With the way the weather has been, it has been driving my skin bonkers. Normally when summer is lurking around the corner, my skin (especially the t-zone) becomes more oily. But seeing as we've had a few cold nights (seriously?), I'm trying to get my skin to cooperate with the wonky weather.

So quick run down.
  • Combination skin.
  • Oily T-zone (oil slick during the warm weather).
  • Dry around the sides of the nose, across the cheeks and on the chin.

So a night cream sounds like it could be my worst enemy, but is it really?

Onward and upward to the review!

Disclaimer: When it comes to skin care, I'm a skeptic. I'm not a pro, but I've tried enough to know if a product is working for me, or not.

Own Refining Moisture Night Cream

Packaging: The jar comes in OWN's standard silver/grey box with white/green lettering/design. I honestly think the box is too big for the size of the jar, but that's just me. The jar itself is a glass, frosted jar with a silver twist lid, that holds 1.7oz of product in it.

Fragrance: The scent is the very same scent that the OWN Lifting Eye Cream has. It's a very herbal-earthy scent that I have gotten used to, and actually didn't notice it until I went to do the review ;x

Own Refining Moisture Night Cream

Texture/Formula: Creamy. Simple as that. This is actually the first night cream that I've really used, so I was expecting the formula to be heavy, but to my surprise, it's actually light weight. No residue left once it absorbs into the skin.

Directions: Smooth gently onto the face and neck until absorbed.

Own Refining Moisture Night Cream
Overall Verdict: I do like this night cream! I never thought about getting a night cream simply because I was always under the impression that the formula would be too heavy and I'd end up with an oil slick care of it. But that isn't the case. This is a cream that absorbs quickly into the skin and makes my skin feel very smooth. I also noticed that the regular dryness that I content with has lessen, while the t-zone hasn't been affected much. Not to mention, I do believe that my skin, especially my cheeks, seem to have more... I don't want to say brightness to them, but more life. While I have a natural flush, I still tend to look dull, since using this my cheek more lively.
