Back on February 14th (I think), Physicians Formula held a promotion that 1,000 people who logged into Facebook, went to their fanpage and put in a secret word would win one of their Sexy Booster Sexy Glow Blushes. I lucked out and was one out of 1,000!
I actually received it in the mail right before Easter and have been using it since.
I figured it's about time I did a review for it!
Irresistibly Sexy Blushing Glow: Wear this perfect blend of shimmery blushing tones like lingerie for your face for an instant sexy boost with an alluring blushing glow.Sexy Boosting Formula: infused with the scent of warm vanilla, "afterglow" illumination and pheromone-mimicking ingredients including clinically tested Androstadienone, Cocoa Extract (aka "the Love Chemical") and ancient aphrodisiac Horny Goatweed to enhance your sexy side.

Packaging: The blush comes in a standard theme box. Inside, you get what I'm calling a blush box. The packaging goes right in tune with the Sexy theme, cherry red fabric that wraps around the edges along with a black lace overlay. The inside, on both sides, is a shiny black that I believe is suppose to come across as leather. Both on the front and back packaging there's a clear plastic square so you can, not only see the blush, but the brush/mirror that's on the back. To top it off, Physicians Formula includes a black bow with a high heel pendant to act as the opener. Very cute packaging, and appropriate for the Sexy theme in my opinion.
Shade: There are two shades one could have received, Natural or Rose. I actually got lucky and received Rose which is the one that I had been eying in the stores. The base of it is a soft pink, with the "shoe" design being a rosy pink. The silver to the heel is just an overlay that disappears after the second use. The entire blush is shimmery, it is not matte.
Scent: Definitely smells like warm vanilla with a hint of chocolate. It isn't powerful, but it does linger on the skin for a little bit, but dissipates after a while.

Overall Verdict: I was pleasantly surprised with how much liked this blush. Last time I used a blush from Physicians Formula, I was having blemishes pop up on my cheeks because of the mineral oil (this was listed on the ingredients list for the particular product) that was in it. The color is beautiful, too much can be applied, but with a light hand, it blends in with my skin tone perfectly. It gives a nice healthy glow without being too shimmery as well. Not to mention, I actually LIKE the scent. I can definitely say that this is the only main blush that I've been using since I got it in the mail, besides the ModelCo Tint.

Definitely a beautiful color, although I have had it where it goes on too heavy ;x Easy fix though with left over foundation.

It really does smell like warm vanilla, not quite vanilla extract, but there's some little bit of chocolate behind the vanilla though. Maybe that's just me though :D
DeleteI followed you back :)
