I have in my possession another polish from Nicole by OPI's Gumdrop collection, bwhaha! ... I think I'm starting to become obsessed with this. Anyway, to be honest, my Mother picked this one out (note if you missed it, she's color blind to the point of only seeing black, grey & white), she was going by the name, My Cherry Amour and believe it would be a vivid red textured polish. The lighting in the store actually mad it out to be a red. Not exactly a cherry red.
My Cherry Amour isn't exactly a "cherry" color. It's more of a fuchsia infused red, with fine holographic and fuchsia glitter.
Directions: Apply base and two coats of color. Do not use top coat.

Application: Easy. This one, like Cinna-man of My Dreams, was opaque after two coats. I actually used a Nicole by OPI base coat which seems to have worked out better than what I was previously using. I allowed, roughly, 10 minutes of drying for the 1st coat before I applied the second.

Now for kicks, the photos above were taken on the 19th. So today, the 23rd (the manicure is still intact!), I decided to add a top coat over it to see what would happen.

As you can see, applying a top coat smooths out the sand-esque texture. Although even with 2 coats, you can still feel it slightly. The top coat though, REALLY brings out the glitter tones.
Overall Verdict: I absolutely love this color, even with the top coat it is positively gorgeous. I give props to my Mom for picking this one out.
Price: Varies, I purchased this for $6.94, but the price can go up to $8.00.
Availability: Anywhere that Nicole by OPI is sold.
That is such a gorgeous color! x
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I like it both with and without the top coat :)
ReplyDeleteOh that's stunning! I love it with a top coat especially! :)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm. I'm not sure about not using a top coat--I always feel incomplete without it. Haha!! I really love how this looks with the top coat, though. It's so sparkly!!
ReplyDeleteNice job! I am terrible at doing my nails, haha. But I like the color and everything.
ReplyDeleteThat is a really pretty polish! Something I would definitely be rocking during the Christmas season lol.
ReplyDeleteYou have a very lovely blog! I hope you can come by mine when you have some time =)
